gorillaLOCAL began with the PLASTIC BAG FREE 09.09.09 campaign on the dining room table in our house in Valley Park, Chandler's Ford.  We want to help make make Chandler's Ford safer, greener and more prosperous place to live and the more people that get involved the better our chances are.

We are a Social Enterprise - so our organisation is based on the ethos of greater equity of economic power in Chandler's Ford and a more sustainable society.  We do this by combining market efficiency with social and environmental issues.  Rather than maximising shareholder value our main aim is to generate profit to further our business goals for the good of the community of Chandler's Ford.

Caring for our environment underpins everything we do at gorillaLOCAL. This isn't just about putting your newspapers in the right bin.  This is about disposing of your waste responsibly and helping you get information about buying the right stuff in the first place.
