Chandler's Ford is aiming to be free of plastic shopping bags according to a campaign launched by new community website gorillaLOCAL.
Following the brilliant example of the South Devon village of Modbury, gorillaLOCAL aims to work with businesses, schools and community organisations to rid the area of the menace of plastic bags by producing an alternative to the plastic bags.
Chandler's Ford's 090909 campaign is turning to the Tsunami devastated region of southern India for help in ridding the area of the menace of plastic shopping bags.
